Known as “The Fashionista,” Rodner Figueroa is one of the most recognized style experts in the Hispanic market. This fashion guru, with his expert reviews, is often considered the most awaited part of the red carpet, having worked events such as the Latin GRAMMY Awards, Premio Lo Nuestro, Premios Juventud, and many others. His interviews with stars and famous designers have made him a great success in both Latin America and the United States. This was made apparent in 2014, when Rodner took home the Daytime Emmy for “Outstanding Daytime Talent in Spanish” for his work on the top Spanish entertainment news show, “El Gordo y la Flaca.” Along with his start as regular host of “El Gordo y la Flaca,” Rodner Figueroa has hosted a web series called, “EL FASHIONOMETRO” and has regularly given fashion tips in the longest-airing variety show, “Sabado Gigante.” His credibility in the field has led him to appear on programs as “Nuestra Belleza Latina,” “Mira Quien Baila,” and “Despierta America.”

Rodner’s love for fashion started at a very young age in his hometown of Caracas, Venezuela, where his mother took him to many fashion shows. In college he studied Journalism and Art and Modern Design, which gave him the tools to become a great fashion expert and TV host.

Thanks to this knowledge and his talent, many companies have chosen Rodner to promote their brands. Some of these companies include Colgate, Target, Johnny Walker Black Label, Neutrogena, Procter & Gamble, Wrigley, and Kohl’s.

Another passion of Rodner’s is philanthropy. Alongside donating his time to causes like St Jude, BeLive, Aid for Aid Foundation, Salvadorian American Humanitarian Foundation, and Friends of Children with Cancer, in 2014 he created the I Love Venezuela Foundation with the mission of supporting different social projects in his native country (http://www.ilovevenezuela.org/).

In 2016, Rodner Figueroa graced the cover of People en Español to discuss what the future holds for him. The issue gained positive feedback from the masses as they anxiously wait for his upcoming projects.
