Miguel Varoni is an internationally renowned director, producer and actor. After his success directing the first and second season of acclaimed Super Series “Señora Acero,” Varoni is currently directing Telemundo’s next original production “La Fan.”
His breakthrough as an actor happened when he played the role of Pedro Coral, main character in “Pedro El Escamoso,” which earned him multiple awards like: Best Actor from “TV y Novelas,” International Male Figure from “New York ACE” and an “INTE” for Best Actor. Miguel Varoni has also participated in other popular productions such as: “Dueños del Paraíso,” “Marido En Alquiler,” “Corazón Valiente,” “La Casa De Al Lado,” “Ojo Por Ojo,” “My Name Is Earl,” “Decisiones,” “Te Voy A Enseñar a Querer,” and “Seguro y Urgente,” among others.
The Colombian-Argentinian artist also performed in theatre in the early 90s in “Trampa Mortal” and “Los Mosqueteros del Rey.” Additionally, he was the host of the Latin Billboard Awards for two consecutive years. Other awards include a “Simón Bolivar” for Best Actor in his role in “Ángel de Piedra,” a “MARA” award in 2000 and a “Premio Estrella,” both in Venezuela for Best Foreign Actor for his character in “Las Juanas.”
Varoni is a multifaceted artist, well known internationally for his involvement in productions of all sort including drama, comedy, film and theater and for his undeniable talent as a director. Miguel is a supporter of the Billion Signs movement for the War Child organization, which aids children in war conflicted countries.
