(MIAMI, FL – October 11, 2016) – This Saturday October 15th, acclaimed host and fashion expert, Rodner Figueroa, will be hosting the “I Love Venezuela Foundation” 2016 Gala at the Alfred I. DuPont Building in Miami, FL. This is the third time Figueroa holds this event to support diverse social causes like Amigos del Niño con Cáncer, Hogar Bambi and Construyendo Futuros in his country, Venezuela.
This year’s gala will host renowned guests like Cristián de la Fuente, Angelica Castro, Lola Ponce and Ariadna Gutiérrez among others. It will also have special guest performances by Amigos Invisibles, Grupo Vitamina, DJ Sammy and Spanish singer, David Bisbal who shared, “I have always felt a connection with the people of Venezuela. It is a country that I love from the bottom of my heart and, of course, I am very happy to perform in the “I Love Venezuela” gala. We will all sing together for Venezuela.”
“Venezuela needs everyone’s support now more than ever. With this gala, not only do we lend a helping hand to the Venezuelan people, but we also carry a message of hope,” said Figueroa. “I want to give a special thanks to David Bisbal for lending his voice with songs of love and solidarity for Venezuela,” he added.
Additionally, artist Carlos Cruz-Diez will receive the “Spirit Award” for his contributions to Venezuelan and Latin American art. Artist Domingo Zapata, whose work is collected by personalities like Leonardo Di Caprio, Scarlett Johansen and Johnny Depp among others, will be leading an interactive art experience with guests.
During the Gala, guests will be able to make anonymous donations to support different programs in Venezuela such as education, health and social development.
