Acclaimed soccer player Diego Maradona will tell his story on screen in an unprecedented biographical series produced by BTF Media, Dhana Media and Latin World Entertainment
(Miami, FL- October 5, 2016) – After releasing international hit series, “Hasta que te conocí,” based on the life of Juan Gabriel, and in midst of producing “Su nombre era Dolores,” the controversial story of Jenni Rivera, BTF Media (Content Producer), in association with Dhana Media and Latin World Entertainment, is pleased to announce another coproduction agreement to create an unprecedented biographical series.
The story of internationally acclaimed soccer player, Diego Armando Maradona, will soon arrive to the small screen. This series about one of the most popular international icons with millions of enthusiasts in over 30 countries will be based on one-one interviews with the soccer icon, promising to surpass everyone’s expectations in a groundbreaking international production.
“My life has been a roller coaster and I want to share an honest account of my experiences, therefore there was no better production house to do it with than BTF. I am certain that they will tell my story with the quality and sincerity it deserves. It has been a very organic process working alongside Francisco Cordero and Mari Urdaneta in a detailed recollection of my life through a series of interviews. I am fully supporting the production and providing them my know- how and life details,” expressed Maradona about the project, which already started pre-production this September and is set to start filming in 2017 in Argentina.
