(MIAMI, FL – September 24, 2015) –LatinWE’s star Influencers Gaby Espino, Sebastián Villalobos, Juan Pablo Jaramillo, Juanpa Zurita, Mario Ruiz, Juana Martinez and Kelly Peñaranda, participated in a panel for the Latin-American Media Festival (FOMLA) in Miami, FL to discuss amongst other topics, the power of social media. They became World Wide Trending Topic during their presentation as they asked their followers to promote the hashtag #FOMLAInfluencers generating over 50 million impressions in social media.

The stars and Hispanic influencers shared their experiences with brands, media and their fans in a panel hosted by journalist and technology expert, Raúl García. They accepted the challenge of promoting the hashtag #FOMLAInfluencers to make it trend worldwide, and they achieved it after being 12 minutes on stage.

Actress, TV host and entrepreneur Gaby Espino, a Telemundo talent, shared her experience of becoming a top influencer opening endless opportunities for brands, media and products. Recently Espino revamped her webpage http://gabyespino.com/ and launched GabyEspinoTV, a YouTube Channel targeting millions of her more devoted fans.

Luis Balaguer, CEO of LatinWE and manager of Hollywood’s actress and entrepreneur Sofía Vergara, continued the panel session with Mitch Kanner, CEO of Two Degrees Ventures. They discussed the importance of social media for brands and consumers and how the advertising spectrum has changed.

And the advantage is that social media gives us the freedom to reach our audience without dealing with media monopolies,” said Balaguer, who also explained how LatinWE works with Vergara, breaking the traditional media rules to generate targeted traffic in all her platforms to attract brands.
